Pakistan has been blacklisted by Financial Action Task Force's Asia-Pacific Group of the global watchdog for terror financing and money laundering. Pakistan has been put in the Enhanced Expedited Follow Up List (Blacklist) for its failure to meet its standards. The sanctions will further burden Pakistan which facing an economic slowdown.
