The Bharatiya Janata Party's Lumla mandal on October 20 convened a padyatra (foot march) to mark Gandhi Sankalp Yatra to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. Lumla MLA Jambey Tashi flagged off the march from Mangnam village to BJP office at Manpat bazaar. Jambey was joined by BJP Lumla Mandal president Sonam Topgey, Former ZPM Lobsang Younten, BJP Mahila morcha, Yuva morcha, members and office-bearers in the awareness walk.
