Exploring Gigantic Underground Chambers in the Abandoned Snowstorm Mine

The Snowstorm Mine was the largest in the area. A massive quantity of ore was removed from this mine's ore body leaving behind some gigantic stopes. Silver was the main commodity sought after at this mine. The ore was a breccia material.

Despite producing a lot of ore, the Snowstorm Mine was never profitable. A huge amount of money was pumped into this mine. The equipment and time needed to remove the ore body was immense. The Mine was even equipped with a 24-stamp mill, a blacksmith shop, and a bunkhouse. The remnants of these structures are minimal.

Today this mine contains few little in terms of artifacts and timbering, but the enormous stopes are one of a kind!
