Assam CM appeals protesters to stop agitation, says protests will not help transform state

Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal today said that protests are major roadblocks in the path of development.
Sonowal said that transformation of Assam is impossible if the state continues to witness agitations.
The Chief Minister's assumes significance as protests have escalated in the state over the Centre's push for passing the #CitizenshipAmendmentBill.
