Black Youth Suicide:

Suicide attempts among black children and teens are increasing at alarming rates.

From 1991 to 2017, the rate of reported Suicide Attempts by African-American teens rose, especially the rate among black boys.

The rate for black youths grew even as the rate of Suicide Attempts by teens in other racial and ethnic groups fell.

Although Suicide rates are lower among Blacks and African Americans than among whites, Suicide and other Mental Health problems are important issues affecting this population.

Black teenagers in the United States have had lower Suicide rates than whites.

It doesn't matter what race we are or where we come from, each and every one of us still has feelings.

We all have a heartbeat, a pulse, we all breathe, we all eat, we all sleep and we all have a past and a history.
