Elachi assures Nairobians that there's no vacuum in city hall after Sonko was barred from office

Is Nairobi county staring at a leadership crisis? Well, Nairobi county assembly speaker Beatrice Elachi has allayed fears of a possible leadership vacuum at city hall, after the court barred governor Mike Sonko from accessing his office after he was charged with corruption. Elachi says there is no cause for alarm as the governor has everything in order, including having approved his 2019/2020 financial budget. She is calling for patience as they await the direction from the attorney general.
