FBI Deems Florida Naval Base Shooting 'Terrorism' to Help Speed Investigation

The FBI presumes a Florida attack by a Saudi air force officer on U.S. military personnel “was an act of terrorism,” the agent in charge of the investigation said, as Republican lawmakers urged a suspension of training from foreign fighters in the U.S.

Deeming Friday’s attack “terrorism” can help speed the investigation, FBI special agent-in-charge Rachel Rojas said Sunday in a press briefing.
