So on my last YouTube video, I showed some behind the scenes of me teaching a Drumline. I took a clip from the video and posted it on Instagram. However, I chose the clip where I looked the most frustrated with a student and some people commented that I seemed very angry...lol Now, it's possible I was a little frustrated in that moment, but if you watch the whole video (it's the video I posted before this one actually), you'll see that I'm cracking jokes and being positive. So when you look at the whole context, I think I was pretty positive.
But I sometimes get frustrated. Drum Instructors sometimes get frustrated. We're all human and it's totally ok when you lose patience at times with a student.
So how do we reconcile all of this? Well, watch the video and let me know what you think!
