TRAINING TERMS Pre-requisite for RLC & Basics

TRAINING TERMS Pre-requisite for RLC & Basics This is Horse Training Definitions & Terms in English. This is a pre-requisite for all horse-training, and it is a specific pre-requisite (that shall be tested) for the RLC 2020 Course which will be published next year.

The endgame of training must be clearly understood to make a good foundation. And riding is faster than speech. There’s no time to explain theory in the arena. We must be able to verbally conduct the training efficiently. Preparation is the purpose of this list: it simply defines Training Terms that must be understood, and agreed upon BEFORE proceeding.

You yourself could compile and write out this list by reading, studying, dissecting, and re-collating this entire bibliography along with the FEI Rulebook, Articles, and Tests. Obviously, that would be a redundant, time-consuming, pain-in-the-ass. It’s been done for you.

The Definitions List Glossary is here read aloud (by me) and presented in this video format. In the video, I simply read the definitions of terms to you. I recommend following along with your printed version and adding your own notes to them.

To be a responsible rider and/or horse-trainer, this is stuff YOU must know and understand. Make certain that any and all professionals you associate with comply with these terms.

This glossary is also available in .pdf; power-point, and e-book formats. Please ask.
