Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal will hold discussions with rebels who are slated to lay down their arms tomorrow in Guwahati. It may be mentioned that a total of 644 rebels will hand over their arms and ammunition and join mainstream.
Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal will hand over rehabilitation assistance to the rebels.
Talking to newspersons, Assam DGP Bhaskar Jyoti Mahanta said that the rebels had wished to return to the mainstream and have already handed over many arms and ammunitions to the Assam Police.
