Greetings Heroes!
Looks like you ran into a bit of trouble, and, at least this time, it didn't work out! Otherwise you wouldn't be hearing the "Continue?" Music, lol!
That's okay. Sometimes it just doesn't work out. Instead of considering it a failure though, or anything like that, consider that maybe just a new strategy is needed in order to move past this current obstacle. Some call this process "failing forward".
I'm sure you've heard a few success stories by this point. Notice how all of them have many moments where the person failed to achieve a temporary goal. But did that stop them?? OF COURSE NOT! :D :D
Experience is the best teacher!
Tony Robbins, a self help guru, talks a lot about this made up idea of "Failure". He says that it is a man made idea, that failure doesn't actually exist. I mean think about it, even if you didn't achieve the desired goal you were going for, did you succeed in learning a valuable lesson? Yes? Then it was not a failure! You succeeded in learning that the way you were going wasn't going to work in this situation, and that simply a different approach is needed. Nothing to get your feelings hurt over, that's the just the way it works, it's nothing personal, so don't take it personally!
I would actually go a step further, especially for those who are still on the the metaphorical sidelines, just thinking about taking a bold step in their life. Maybe they want to try to work for themselves, or say "yes" to an opportunity to work with an entrepreneur, or start there own video game music youtube channel ;)
^In these cases, the "fear of failure" thing may show up at your door quite a few times. To you I would say, if you feel it would work if you gave it 100% of your effort, then FREAKING DO IT!! Not yelling at you, just yelling with you. :D if we say that "failure" exists, then what we call SUCCESS, REQUIRES FAILURE. Let that sink in. it's true.

Failing is an intrinsic part of succeeding, 'cause you need to put yourself out there so that you can learn what to do, and more importantly, what not to do.
If you need to brainstorm or do a little extra research the second time around, cool! Learning more is only going to make you that much more prepared when you try again.
It's all apart of the journey, if things worked out the first time everytime, it wouldn't make for a good story, now would it? ; ]
So dust yourself off, remember the lessons, and try again. Keep exploring new ideas and test them out, you never know, sometimes just a slightly different approach can make all the difference.
