In this video we will talk about electric motor.
PRINCIPLE:
The electric motor operates on the simple principle of converting electrical energy to mechanical energy.
CONSTRUCTION:
A Loop ABCD is placed in a strong magnetic field between magnetic poles N and S. The end A of the loop is connected to the semicircular ring P and the end B of loop is connected to the the other semicircular ring Q. Both the rings P and Q are connected just by edge to the brush X and Y respectively. The brushes are joined to the battery.
