How to Be Present INSTANTLY (My Easiest|Weirdest Trick!) There are many ways to become aware of your body and your surroundings and enter the present moment, but the one I'm sharing with you today is one I've never heard anyone talk about before. Some of the more common ways include noticing your breathing, noticing the sounds around you and the silence between those sounds, etc. My way, however, involves walking and noticing the way objects move in relation to each other (objects closer to you will appear to move faster than the ones behind them). This makes you hyper-aware of the 3 dimensional nature of everything and, at least for me, instantly takes me out of my head and into the present moment. However, just be sure you aren't thinking about it or judging it -- simply become aware of it.

And this doesn't have to be the only way to enter the present moment -- in fact, you can make up your own! Becoming present is simply a matter of bringing things to your conscious awareness. This means that all you have to do is take any thing or activity you want, and make a conscious effort to notice things about it that you don't normally notice.
