Iran: Directorate of Tactical Training Complex of the Regime’s Seminaries in Isfahan Province Targeted

On Monday, simultaneous with the anniversary of 1979 anti-monarchic revolution, the Tactical Training Complex of the Directorate of the regime’s seminaries in Isfahan Province was targeted by defiant youth. This Directorate supervises and directs the regime’s clerics in Isfahan who is responsible for suppression and plundering Iranian people. The Directorate is also responsible for recruiting and training interrogators, torturers, and religious judges and, as such, it is directly or indirectly involved in torturing, murdering, and executing dissidents.


Iranian Physicians Sentenced to 180 Lashes for Criticizing Medical Fraud

Three Iranian physicians were sentenced to 60 lashes each, a total of 180 lashes, for insulting a mullah through social media.
The verdict issued by Branch 136 of the 2nd Penal Court of Mashhad on December 31, 2019 was reported in by the Telegram channel belonging to Abbas Tabrizian on February 9.
Abbas Tabrizian burned the Harrison’s Manual of Medicine, one of the world’s most credible publications on medicine, on January 23, 2020 in a gathering of his supporters. The mullah called by his supporters as “the modern Avicenna” said the reason he burned the medical book was to counter chemical medicine and return to the Islamic Medicine.


Iran’s IRGC Arrest Teachers’ Rights Activist at Home

The General Secretary of the Iranian Teachers’ Trade Association, Mohammad Taqi Fallahian was arrested at home by intelligence forces of the Revolutionary Guard Corps on Saturday. The news was announced in a statement by the Iranian Teachers’ Trade Association.
The Iranian Teachers’ Trade Association protested this method of bringing double pressure on teachers and activist teacher, calling for immediate and unconditional release of Mohammad Taqi Fallahian.
The ITTA also expressed support for incarcerated teachers, including Mahmoud Beheshti Langroudi, Mohammad Habibi and Esmail Abdi, calling their verdicts as unjust and oppressive.
