Much of what I do on this channel for weathering focuses on a single car or locomotive, and spending a lot of time making them look well-worn. A viewer asked me how one might go about weathering lots of rolling stock. With the size of my own layout, I only ever have 1-2 pieces on my desk at a time, but some of you have larger layouts with locomotives hauling lots of cars. Let's be honest, spending 5 hours weathering a single car is not going to cut it when you also have things like scenery, track wiring, or other elements of layout buiding.
So how does one weather lots of cars quickly? Well, that's worth our next livestream. Tune in Tuesday, February 6th at 6pm Mountain Standard Time to share your ideas, and I'll share some of mine, including a live test of one technique I've been thinking of using.
