Is Modern Day Leprosy the Same as the Leprosy in the Bible? [Leviticus 13:1-8][Lesson 38][WTTB]

Over the next two chapters of Leviticus, we're going to be talking a lot about leprosy. We'll be talking about what leprosy is, how one determined they had it, what to do when you had it, and what to do when it was cured. Reading from a 21st century perspective though can lead us into making some conclusions that are not found in the text. The first question we need to ask, is the leprosy mentioned in Leviticus 13 & 14 the same as what we call leprosy today? In Lesson 38 of our study of Leviticus we learn the answer to this question.
