Kenya struggling to end FGM which has shattered many Girls' dreams | International Women's Day

Mothers and especially those from pastoralist communities have largely been blamed for being the advocating for female genital mutilation amongst their children. This came out during this year’s international Women’s Day, where several civil society organizations championing the rights of the girl child, urged mothers to be sincere and stand their ground in fighting the vice.
