In this video, I compare licensed qualified patent attorneys with pro se inventors. The latter is the equivalent in the patent world of "representing yourself". Now, there is the common saying that " A man who is his own lawyer has a fool for a client," but I think that in the legal arena of patenting the game is slightly different. For starters, you're not going to go to jail if you mount a poor defense of your patent application.
And there is one big advantage that pro se inventors have over patent attorneys, which I raise at the end.
