Butterfly Riptide Shawl - Left Handed Crochet Tutorial

I've done five shawls for the Fall season. I decided to turn to my attention to colder weather and decided to go with a warmer stitch with lots of texture! I originally thought this would be a shawl we'd share, but using thicker stitches really shrunk this shawl's design, unlike the more lacy shawls I've done so far. It fits her perfectly!

This was the full 1000 meter yarn cake. I can tell already that if I make a bigger version of this design that it would be more of a wrap than a shawl before my yarn cake ran out.

A hook I've used in a few videos. Great if you suffer pain while crocheting. This hook is very light which is great if you suffer from carpel tunnel and the thicker handle helps your hand not cramp up so quickly.
