Apart from this, campaigns like meat-free Mondays or vegetation campaigns against carnivores have awakened meat eaters in recent times and their number has decreased. At the same time, many documentaries have put the benefits of eating less meat in front of people. Because of which one third of British citizens claim that they have given up or reduced meat consumption and two thirds of people in America claim that they are eating less meat than before.
