In this video, I'm showing you the simple process for creating different flat lays. By simply switching up different props of similar tones, you can create a cohesive theme for your instagram feed. My advice? Choose colours and tones that compliment your brand if you use instagram for business. Cohesiveness will give your feed that beautiful flow! And during the holidays, it's fun to create more holiday-feel images that aren't your typical Santa or stockings!
My steps:
For the base - I simply used a white foam board from the dollar store.
Base props - I used a beautiful gold frame and chiffon sash to give some texture and balance.
Additional props - I coordinated colours together and simply swapped them out to create very different feel and vibe. Try using props related to season and help tell the story you're trying to tell.
My tips -
- consider what you're going to caption before you create
- setup in front of a bright window for natural light
- snap at different angles and snap often
- edit your photos - try a preset (hint: you can snag these at creativemarket.com )
