A Philippine lawmaker sounds the alarm on attempts to ease restrictions on foreign investments. House minority member Carlos Zarate asserts, businesses in the Philippines should be controlled by Filipinos. He adds, even with current restrictions on foreign investments, the Philippine economy is thriving. But Gary Olivar, a member of President Duterte's Inter-Agency Taskforce On Constitutional Reform, insists easing restrictions will result in more jobs for Filipinos.
