Learning - Guitar or Anything Else | Funky Dm Improv

Learning how to learn; how to think. A question from last week got me to thinking deeply about what was most fundamental to improvising. Surely we need to know how to tune the guitar and how to hold it. But what comes after that or along with it.

I was actually pretty astounded by the number of people who said they couldn't try to play a melody, which to my mind is more fundamental than guitar patterns like the pentatonic scale. So let's talk about learning!
