In this weeks second upload of John Boxer Mendoza's book, Nuestra Familia: a broken paradigm he describes some of the hard choices he was faced to come to terms with. Boxer comes to the realization that his choices are now limited and that this now put everything in a different perspective. Getting back in good standings with the NF was no longer an option, the organization made this very clear after dropping the hammer twice, so now Boxer had to make a choice as to the two options that he was now faced with. He could hold his mud, go to trial and take the 155 to life on the chin, and remain on bad standings like he already was, or he could make it official, by swallowing his pride, compromising his whole belief system and ultimately using this situation to possibly turn his life in another direction. The latter wasn't something Boxer was ready or willing to do, as it went against everything he was ever taught or believed in, but what was the wisest and best choice. He would seek this answer from other people, but under the circumstances what would the majority of people really do in this situation. Put all personal feelings and your pride aside for a minute and really ask yourself this question. Would you go spend the rest of your life in prison, on a PC yard and in bad standings or would you take the possibility of maybe going home one day. No matter what you choose, the fellas have already turned their backs on you and the prospect of living on a PC yard with a bunch of undesirable predators isn't an appealing one, but ask yourself what you would've done if this were you.
