I'm making this video as a little encouragement to all you guys out there. If you want to attain anything in your life or anything with your goals, you have to have an unstoppable belief in your goals. You have to have a relentlessness, a grit to yourself to achieve your goals. You cannot just want something. You cannot just flame the dream of attaining something. You cannot just kinda wanna have it. You cannot just have a little tickle of desire. You got to have a sort of an intensity that almost hurts.
When it comes to achieving your goals towards the path of mastery, you have to believe that you could do it. You have to believe that you could supersede and become greater than the people who you look up to. You have to believe that you could push it to the limit and that you could become greater than the person you think you are.
The first step is to begin thinking bigger. To begin to sort of try to believe that you could do more than what you believe you could do. Start thinking bigger. Even though you don't believe it, start thinking bigger because your brain will naturally begin to believe you. Your brain would naturally begin to believe in itself. Do you see what I'm saying?
Dream big and want to be the greatest of all time in something. Want to be greater than your idols. Just desire it because in that there is a humongous amount of creative energy and just the belief that you could supersede your idols if you put in the hard work.
You cannot just believe in that because you have some gift from God. Your belief has to be grounded in reality. It's not based on grandiosity, it's based on reality, people. So when it comes to me achieving my own goals, I believe it 100% without a doubt undisputably. Why? It's because it leads to unstoppable action. You begin to get excited because you know that taking this action and enduring the boredom of attaining skills comes with its own rewards. You don't just practice in a stale way, you practice anticipating.
The rule of mastery is this: whatever you do in secret, you will be rewarded in public. Always remember that what you do when no one's watching, people will reward you. All of those practices that you did by yourself when no one's watching, all of those times that you woke up in the morning just to practice, you will get rewarded. And by believing that, you begin to sort of love the rigor because there's a reward behind them.
