DIY Macrame Tutorial - Continuous Weave Method 1

DIY Macrame Tutorial - Continuous Weave Method 1 Continuous Weave! This is the first of two methods. Please see below for materials and written instructions.

Materials:
- 6mm 3 Ply Cotton Rope

2mm and 3mm Natural Twisted Cotton String are available for purchase in my Etsy Shop: Coloured string and 3 ply rope will be available soon! Stay tuned.

Hey guys! Today I’m going to show you how to create a continuous weave. Let’s get started!

Set-up - I’m using 4 strands of rope, each piece is 2 meters long. Fold each piece in half and attach to your dowel using a Lark’s Head knot. I’m using 6mm 3 ply rope which will be available in my Etsy Shop soon!

The first method will use groups of 2 strands of rope. Each group is labelled - Group A on the left, Group B second from the left, Group C second from the right and Group D furthest on the right.

Bring Group B in front of Group C. Bring Group B behind Group D. Bring Group C in front of Group A.

Bring Group A in front of Group D. Working on the right, bring Group B in front of Group A. Working on the left, bring Group C behind Group D. Continue this process until you’ve created a weave of your desired length.

I have a second method that uses more strands to create a continuous weave. This method will be out next week. Stay tuned for that!

Thanks so much for watching!
