FIG Official – 49th FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships, 4-13 October 2019. More than 540 gymnasts from a record 92 nations are scheduled to participate in these World Championships, taking place at the 7,500-seat Hanns-Martin-Schleyer-Halle. This tops the previous record of 86 federations that took part four years ago in Glasgow (UK).
At stake are 14 sets of medals — eight for men and six for women — as well as potential tickets to next year's Olympic Games in Tokyo (JPN). In Stuttgart, the top nine teams in each discipline (excluding the three already qualified from 2018) will qualify to Tokyo.
