Senior Minister of State for Transport Lam Pin Min said the government treats the livelihoods of those affected by the recent e-scooter footpath ban very seriously. However, he also added that the priority is to make sure pedestrians remain safe on the roads and having another e-scooter fatality is "unacceptable".
