Yorkshire hit by severe flooding A woman who died after being caught in raging floodwater has been named as Annie Hall, the former High Sheriff of Derbyshire.

She was swept away by the River Derwent in Darley Dale, close to Matlock, in the early hours of Friday, and her body was recovered downstream two hours later.
