When I first signed up for the FLW Northern Costa's in the beginning of the year I was fishing them to do well in each individual tournament, make the FLW Championship and it is a personal goal to try and qualify for the tour every year. The last 3 years I have qualified for the tour but have turned it down each time. I also had a goal of making it to the FLW Cup. With the buyout of FLW and MLF taking control they decided to get rid of the cup towards the end of the season and take away the ultimate goal of anyone who is fishing the FLW Costa Series. They choose to not care about the 12 anglers who made it when there is plenty of options,ideas and ways to make this right. Instead they ignored it hoping it would just go away.

FLW and Major League Fishing need to make this right….12 anglers worked extremely hard to get to this point and qualify. It is time FLW and MFL stand up for the anglers and make this right. I am extremely disappointed in the lack of anything from both of these organizations. It is beyond crazy how they are treating the 12 anglers that rightfully qualified for the FLW CUP. The new FLW title championship could be a great way to let the public know that the FLW and MFL want to do what is right for the anglers and allow them to fish in this championship. No one is going to deny that we deserve it and it would make up for what they have done. I don't know one angler who would have fished this and have this opportunity be pulled away who would not be upset about it.

I am asking that Major League Fishing (MLF) and the FLW will do what is right in regards to this matter and make this issue right!

Who is SmallmouthCrush?

Travis Manson was born and raised where the giant Smallmouth Bass of the north live...WISCONSIN. He started fishing from the bank at a young age and spent most of his childhood with a rod in his hand. Travis is primarily a self-taught angler that is always learning and experiencing this amazing sport of fishing. He started out fishing for walleyes and fishing in local walleye tournaments, but then in his mid 20's, he caught the BASS BUG and has been hooked every since. He competed at the highest level in bass fishing on the Bassmaster Elite Series for a number of years.
