This is a collection of my favorite boats that have passed by my hometown, longer than I've been alive. Each "boat" has its own function, personality, and even it's own group of fans. These fan are affectionately called "Boat Nerds". These gigantic vessels carry much of the raw material that supplies the U.S. auto industry, as well as other materials such as cement, coal, and salt. Without these "Lakers", products in the U.S. would much harder and expensive to produce.
